Widgets are available on iOS and iPadOS devices. Action Button is available on iPhone 15/16 Pro and Pro Max.

Widgets & Action Button

Quick access to voice recording from anywhere on your iPhone or iPad.

1. Add Home Screen Widget

   Long press on your home screen, tap the + button in the top left, and search for “Cleft”. Add the widget size of your choice to start notes directly from your home screen.

2. Set up Lock Screen Widget

   Go to your Lock Screen, long press to customize, tap “Add Widgets”, and find Cleft in the widget list. Add it to start recording without unlocking your phone.

3. Configure Action Button

   Go to Settings > Action Button > select Cleft to start and finish notes with a single press.

Using widgets and the Action Button can save precious seconds when you need to capture thoughts quickly. The Lock Screen widget is particularly useful for impromptu recordings.
